What a marvelous job you have done AGAIN! What would this family do without YOU!? I pray that someone will pick up the mantel when we are gone. Being just a servant I ask what service I can do for my family! At least 7 of my family including Marcia will be there! Love you so much

It is my pleasure to get this going in hopes that it will bring us together. We need to reconnect. You, Lillian and I stay connected, and hang out together, but the rest of us are rarely together, AND that MUST change. Thank you COUSIN for checking in and keeping up with me. LOVE you girl!

Hi Malinda and other Brown/Washington family members! This reunion sounds very interesting and is a great opportunity to reconnect and form new bonds with our family. I love the location choice and am excited for my own kids to see the sights of our nation's capital. That being said, I am not able to register at this time (although I wish I could in order to take advantage of the generous discounts), due to our financial situation. Since hubby got demoted in July, things have been rough. But I am looking forward and praying for our situation to be turned around. In the event that it does in time, I will surely be saving up what I can so that we can be in attendance. I spoke to my parents briefly about the reunion (that was before I had the chance to view the website) and will further discuss it with them again soon. I will keep you informed. As far as voting on activities and hotels, etc, I would feel it unfair to voice my opinion being that I am totally unsure of our attendance. Thanks for putting in the enormous time and effort necessary for arranging a family gathering of this multitude! Love and GOD bless everyone! Hope to see you all soon!

Little Cousin, I am so glad that you checked out our website. I will be adding to it from now until it is over and after to share pictures etc. Here is a suggestion. Consider doing a fundraiser for the family reunion. You could bake and sale cookies; do babysitting; do a weekly raffle e.g., one day of babysitting (raffle tickets for 1 for $3 2 for $5 or whatever). Consider other ways that you might be able to come up with the funds to for the reunion.

I am also encouraging other family members to help us raise funds to help some of those who may be struggling, and otherwise will not be able to come. I will be raffling a number of things to raise funds to help.

I just wanted to say that I am.truely grateful to have been born into this lineage of Greatness. I love my family, each and every one. Just know that my spirit is always with you. I might add, Malinda, that this website is an awesome blessing to us and I'm sure we all can connect. Thank for the love and example you show us .I vow to be more active and I look forward to our reunion! FYI I live in ft Washington and I work in laurel so if u need any help during preparations please put me to work! I,d'm love to help out.

It will be held in Maryland, but the exact location will be based on the vote for the hotel. That is the next critical help that is needed. Go to Homepage and vote for the hotel!

Belle, I did not know that you left the information about Sonny Boy Harris here. I will give him a call and see what information I can get from him or his daughter about their family. I used to keep his brother Jerome informed about what was going on, but NONE of them ever participated. Jerome and I would exchange Christmas card each year,and then we stopped. I will make the call today.
